Session Details

  • Week 1: Introduction to Journaling

"Every journey begins with a single step." Our first session will introduce you to the basics of journaling. We will explore how journal writing serves as a mirror reflecting your thoughts and emotions, facilitating a deeper understanding of your inner self. This session sets the groundwork by discussing various styles and techniques of journaling.


  • Week 2: Creativity and Exploration: Harness Your Boredom!

"Be the author of your life." This session encourages you to unleash your creative potential through your journal. We'll use prompts and exercises designed to ignite your imagination and inspire deeper exploration of personal narratives and aspirations.


  • Week 3: Writing for Wellness

"Take responsibility for yourself and your loved ones through reflection and journaling." In our third meeting, we delve into how journaling can enhance your mental health and emotional well-being. We will provide strategies to use writing as a way to manage stress, improve mood, and increase self-esteem.


  • Week 4: Meaning and Purpose

"Write your way to a more meaningful life." Our final session focuses on using your journal to explore and affirm your life's purpose and values. You will learn how to set goals, reflect on personal growth, and document the journey towards fulfilling your aspirations.


  • Refresher Session

After three months, we reunite to discuss progress, challenges, and new insights. This session is an opportunity to renew your commitment to journaling and to share your experiences with fellow participants.

Below the link to our online calendar, please consider booking the 4 weekly sessions and the “refresher” in September all in one go (you may cancel >48 hours before workshops with your unique login of the online calendar below).

Bring your journal & pen (if you don’t have a journal one will be provided for you); what you write/wrote will stay always with you and confident - it’s more about showing how it looks and works to the other participants and if something of value comes along: writing something in it.

Details on Bookings and Pricing

Bookings can be made up to 24 hours before the start of the group and can be canceled without penalty up to 48 hours before the group session through your login in the online calendar. A group session will take place if at least four participants are registered. If a group session needs to be canceled due to an insufficient number of participants, the cancellation will be made the evening before the scheduled session.

The costs for participation are usually covered by health insurance as part of relapse prevention (minus the usual deductible/franchise). If you are not yet a patient of our practice, please contact us by email so that we can advise you accordingly.
